Thought of the Day:Faith in the divine plan turns uncertainty into a sacred adventure.
No matter how good we are in life, enemies will arise without us knowing and they will be upset at our prosperity. The only weapon we have to protect ourselves from such negative people and vision defects is this “Argala Stotra”.
This is a very powerful mantra from Markandeya Purana “Devi Mahatme” which can be recited daily not only during Navratri. Whoever recites this with devotion, he gets beauty (rupam), victory (jayam), fame (yasho) and destruction of enemies (dvisho jahi).
Let's see here how to use this hymn to give courage to children, win interviews and settle down at home.
"Argala" means "Gala" or Latch/Bolt in Sanskrit, it is like a strong fence to protect our life. This hymn has the power to stop the obstacles of our mind and the attack of external enemies.
Whenever we feel that life is lost, then reading this hymn immediately gives us new spirit and courage. We get the belief that Goddess Durga is standing behind us.

It is great to recite this stotra on Tuesday, Friday or Amavasya days after taking bath and chanting kumkumarchana in front of the Goddess photo. Especially during the Rahu season, if you light a lemon lamp to Goddess Durga and recite this, whatever difficulty you have will melt away like fog.
Students will get success if they listen to this before going to the exam or interview for the job. Girls should read this without fail for their auspicious luck and family protection.
Here is the complete Argala Stotra lyrics. While reading this, say aloud the line “Roopam Dehi, Jayam Dehi, Yasho Dehi, Dvisho Jahi” that comes at the end of each line.
