It is best to anoint the Lakshmi photo or idol with milk, ghee or honey on Friday or full moon day. Lakshmi likes the lotus flower (Padma) very much.

If Abhishekam is not done, sit in front of the lamp and chant this mantra 16 times. Shree Sukta is mainly used in Homa Havan at home.
