Thought of the Day:Faith in the divine plan turns uncertainty into a sacred adventure.
We have seen you wake up every morning and take a bath and offer water (arghya) to the sun god in a copper bowl. Many people just splash water, but its real purpose is to see the sun through the water.
By doing this, the eye power increases and glasses are not worn at a young age. How is this possible? Here is the science behind it.
We read in school that when white light passes through a prism, it breaks into 7 colors (rainbow). When water is exposed to the sun, the stream of water acts like a natural prism.
When we look at the sun through that water, the sun's rays break through the water and enter the pupil of our eye into 7 colors. This is known as "Chromo Therapy" (Color Therapy), it is a panacea for eye nerves.

Looking directly at the sun can damage the eyes. But when seen through water, the cooling effect of water reduces the heat of the sun.
By doing this every day, the retina of the eye becomes strong. Cataract or blurred vision problems do not occur even in old age.
Steel or plastic should not be used for arghya, a copper vessel should be used. Because copper has the power to kill bacteria in water.
By raising the hands above the head and releasing the water, the chest and arms get a good stretch. It is also good for heart health.
This work should be done only in early morning sun (between 6 am and 8 am). Then the ultraviolet rays (UV Rays) from the sun give vitamin D to our skin.
When that light coming through the water touches our forehead (Ajna Chakra), the brain becomes alert and gets energy to be active throughout the day.
Stand facing east direction. Hold the copper ball with both hands at or above head level.
Slowly releasing the water, see the sun in the middle of the falling stream. Place a plate or a plant pot under it so that the water does not touch the feet.
Instead of going to an eye hospital and spending thousands of rupees, follow this free technique. It keeps both your eyes and mind fresh.
Take a cup of water tomorrow morning and stand facing the sun, you will be healthy.
Note:This article is based on principles of Heliotherapy and Yoga. It is a scientific fact that early morning sun is good for eyes and health. However, one should not look directly at the sun in the hot afternoon sun. Those with serious eye problems should consult a doctor.
